First Impressions: I have only seen a few figures from this line, but overall they look rather crude, especially compared to some of the newer miniatures lines. Details are rough and somewhat plain.

Dem Bones - The Anatomy: The face is somewhat featureless, except for a large SBS ACW 15 Cav Donn3mustache. The overall proportions of the trooper look pretty good. Hands, feet, and face all jibe. The horse is awfully stocky. The head is oversized, but not fatally so. I’m not wild about the shape of the tail. The legs, however, are too short for the body, and the knees are set too high. In this resting pose, this can pass muster, but with a running horse, these flaws would be much more obvious.

Everybody Vogue: The resting/reseve pose of the figure looks fine. I’m not sure why a man on a stationary horse would be holding his sword that way (it would get tiring pretty quick) but these are wargaming figures, and no one wants to paint up a regiment of what might pass for farmers.

Do Those Buttons Read USA or USB? My first impressions have been confirmed. The detail is very basic. The carbine has a trigger guard and bands, but little other discernible detail. There is no saddle per se, and the bedroll looks awfully small. The sword will be the clearest indication in these photos I think - rounded, even a bit indistinct, but certainly identifiable.

The Reserves: Other Figures

Basically the same figure as above with a change in head gear from slouch hat to kepi.
