Race To The Rhine
This summer I am planning a big game for my local club. It will be a Cold War gone hot scenario using stripped down Team Yankee rules. There will be hundreds of tanks on the table with additional vehicles and infantry covering everything from engineers to artillery.
The plan is to set up a 20' table with two wings shaped like a capital F. The scenario idea I have is "Race to the Main." A breakthrough has been achieved near Fulda. The goal of this Soviet attack is to race into the rear areas. There will be two - or possibly three - lines of advance. The table will be shaped like a capital F. The stem will be a 6x16' table with two 6x4 tables as the lines of advance. The goal is to get off the table on the "bottom" of the F. NATO has to stop them.
