First Impressions: Historifigs always seem “lumpy” to me. There’s something in the SBS ACW 15 Gen Hist Gen 1style of the sculpting that always suggests that the figure is unfinished. It’s as if the raised parts on the figure are accidental rather than deliberate. The horse is a bit of a mess - the head is far too long, and the rear far too small. SBS ACW 15 Gen Hist Gen 2

De m Bo ne s - Th e Anatomy: In general the anatomy on this officer is not bad. All of the major body portions are in proportion to each other, the joints are all in their places. One fault, however, is that the torso is too thin from front to back. (Could this be a mold aging / condition issue?)

The horse, on the other hand, needs work. The head is far too long; the line from the point of the hop to the stifle should be the same length but looks too short. The sculpting of the individual parts is fine, but the end result is Frankenhorse.

Everybody Vogue: There’s nothing wrong with the pose here, but it’s nothing to get excited about either. And what is that he’s carrying? It’s definitely not a sword. I just painted it brown assuming it was a cane or walking stick.

Do Those Buttons Read USA or USB? The detail is fine, though given the uniforms and equipment, there’s really not much to tell.
