Irregular has recently begun revamping a number of their lines. Some of their older figures are closer to 12 mm, so it would pay to ask when ordering. Even so, they remain on the small side. This fusilier is a scant 13.5 mm from foot to eye. But he’s broad chested which may perhaps make him look bigger than he is.

The first thing one notices about this figure is how little equipment he is carrying. No canteen or backpack. Just a musket, bayonet, ammunition and scabbard. Talk about traveling light! His arm even covered up the flint lock. Well, his cuffs and turnbacks are neatly called out, and the cuffs have lightly raised button and lace detail.

The general proportions are good. While he is rather broad through the chest, and his face is a bit small. The overall effect is effective enough. The forearms look oversized - got a little of that Popeye action going on - but again, overall not bad.

This is a stiffer pose than many of the others which is my main issue with this particular figure. Otherwise a perfectly acceptable figure.
