Freikorps are a range a bit on the small side, as with this soldier, who measures in at 14 mm. But they are reasonably detailed, well cast, and moderately priced. The major drawback to the range is the limited product line. No cavalry at all, nor British of any description.

The detail here is good, including the plate on the cartridge box, the cuff lace, the musket detail, and a nice, grim face. The detail contrast is moderate, making for a nice balance between scale and paintability. There is no molded cording on the trousers (and I realize I forgot to paint the side stripes on) but otherwise a well sculpted figure.

The bodily proportions are likewise very sound. My only complaint would be that the feet are far too small, though I imagine he could find footwear easier that way! Still, small feet are usually hard to spot once the base is flocked, and from any distance.

The pose is fairly nice. While the figure is balanced, the body lean looks awkward to my eyes. But the energy level is there, and it is still a determined advance. On the whole good, just not great.
