Warrior offers up their version of Wellington’s infantry. As with so many figures, we are once again treated to horribly mutated men. Their arms are grown to gorilla proportions while their legs have shrunk in size.
The equipment on this soldier is fairly well rendered. The lace is left to be painted in (or not) rather than being sculpted. The cuffs here are lightly etched for those who add lace to their units. The shako cords need work, and the musket could be improved, but the rest of the detail is pretty good.
Warrior makes a clean, flash and mold line free figure, but their Essex-inspired anatomy detracts greatly from the other nice features of the figure. They also appear to have a fairly limited number of poses. Each bag contains 8 figures of just one pose and there are limited options for each army.
