There is something very strange about this figure. Perhaps he holds his musket too close. Is his center of gravity off? I’m not sure. Fortunately this is not such a good figure that we need worry about it too much.
There is no one thing about this figure that could be called a fatal flaw. Instead there are a host of minor issues - it might be said this figure is less than the sum of its parts. His left foot is much larger than his right. The musket has a very wide stock, but exceptionally narrow barrel. A face that is quite flat. No bayonet scabbard. Brimless shako.
In short, this looks like the effort of a beginning sculptor. Things may improve in time, but my advice is to wait until they do.
