I can’t help it - every time I look at this figure, all I can see is a shako devouring its owner. Can’t you see the Terry Gilliam animated version? 
Based on the size of the shako, pack, and musket I can only assume this is a twelve year old who somehow got conscripted. Sadly the figure shows some real promise of the sculptor. Details are nicely rendered, the anatomy appears solid, and the pose is energtic. While the feet are tiny and the face little more than an enlarged beak, the uniform details are good. I enjoyed painting this figure even knowing I was creating a monster.
